The Department of Health of Australia coronavirus has reported two new cases of COVID-19 overnight.

The new cases are males in his 40s and 50s who have returned from overseas travel and are currently in hotel quarantine.

The State’s total number now stands at 934.

WA Health is monitoring 10 active cases of COVID-19 and 915 people have recovered from the virus in WA.

To date, the WA Department of Health has administered 39,259 COVID-19 vaccinations, including 2635 people who have received both doses. Yesterday, 2569 people were vaccinated.

Yesterday, 326 people presented for testing at WA Health COVD clinics and 318 were assessed and swabbed.

There have been 928,277 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those, 134,217 were from regional WA.

To date, 36 cases of variant strains have been detected in Western Australia Coronavirus (26 of the B.1.1.7 strain and 10 of the B.1.351 strain).
