<div itemprop="articleBody">Two welterweights looking to bounce back into the win column will go head to head in Las Vegas in November.

Northern Ireland’s Rhys McKee and the United States’ Alex Morono are booked to face off in a 170-pound bout at UFC on ESPN+ 41, which takes place Saturday, Nov. 14 at the UFC Apex, Las Vegas. MMA Junkie confirmed the booking with multiple people with knowledge of the situation, who wished to remain anonymous because the UFC has yet to make an official announcement.

Morono (17-6 MMA, 6-3 UFC) was finished with strikes by Khaos Williams in the first round of his most recent outing at UFC 247 back in February. The defeat snapped a three-fight win streak for the Spring, Texas native, following victories over Kenan Song, Zak Ottow and Max Griffin.

McKee (10-3-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC), meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back and claim his first UFC win after his short-notice call-up to the UFC ended in defeat at the hands of Khamzat Chimaev at UFC on ESPN 14 in Abu Dhabi. All 10 of the Northern Irishman’s professional wins have come via finish and, prior to his defeat to Chimaev, he was riding a three-fight win streak. Now his upcoming bout with Morono will see the former Cage Warriors welterweight contender and ex-BAMMA lightweight champion head to Las Vegas for his first fight on U.S. soil.

With the addition, the UFC on ESPN+ 41 lineup includes:

  • Louis Smolka vs. Jose Quinonez
  • Kanako Murata vs. Livinha Souza

  • Julian Marquez vs. Saparbek Safarov
  • Miranda Granger vs. Ashley Yoder
  • Gabriel Benitez vs. Justin Jaynes
