Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Pop a ‘Chicken Liver’ Ear Cyst
  • Dr. Pimple Popper has an ear cyst to pop in her latest Instagram post, and this one is extra oozy.
  • Instagram comments said that the cysts’ contents looked like everything from a “chicken liver” to “strawberry sorbet.”
  • According to Dr. Pimple Popper, the cyst turned red due to inflammation that caused it to break down.

Dr. Pimple Popper is back with a satisfying ear cyst. In her latest Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper — aka dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee — has an inflamed growth to get rid of, and for “popaholic” fans, this one is about as oozy as cysts gets.

The video begins with Dr. Lee examining the cyst with her hands before the video moves to the dermatologist creating an incision at the top of the growth. Once she does, numbing fluid and the red-hued liquid begins to seep from the opening. But there’s not a simple seep happening here. Dr. Pimple Popper’s still got to squeeze the ear cyst free.

Carefully, she uses her fingers to apply pressure to either side of the cyst asking her patient if she’s comfortable. Once she affirms that she’s not in pain, Dr. Lee keeps going and a reddish, grey lump pops free. According to one Instagram comment, the insides of the cyst look like a “chicken liver” while another calls it “strawberry sorbet” and yet another “strawberry jam.”

Regardless of what “popaholics” think the ear cyst looks like, though, it’s one satisfying pop.
