VIDEO: Jake Paul Sends a Clear-Cut Message to Conor McGregor

Pro Boxer and entertainer Jake Paul took to social media and fired heavy artillery at Conor McGregor. Paul called out McGregor on multiple occasions, and it seems as though he’s looking to up the ante. Chiefly, ‘The Problem Child’ has gone so far as to drop a check to McGregor to make the fight happen.

Although Conor McGregor hasn’t necessarily engaged in return fire, there’s been plenty of buzz created around the matter. In fact, UFC President Dana White was asked to share his views on getting the fight together, however, he didn’t seem optimistic. McGregor’s interest in building on his record has convinced fans that he may take up a boxing bout with Paul.

Additionally, ‘The Notorious’ has brought up the conversation of boxing Manny Pacquiao sometime in 2021. This would be a momentous bout considering that Conor’s pro boxing record will have Floyd Mayweather and Pacquiao as the two names on it. Time will be the best indication as to whether a Paul bout will be enticing when McGregor reviews his options.

Conor McGregor: Quest for UFC gold

Apart from endeavors in the realm of boxing, Conor McGregor has made his intentions to clinch UFC gold extremely clear. Moreover, he’s beginning 2021 in a manner that reflects these sentiments as he faces Dustin Poirier at UFC 257. The winner of the bout will manage to cement their place as a front runner in the crowded lightweight division.

The divisional champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has one foot out of the door and his future in the sport is in limbo. McGregor will be keen to put on a statement performance against Poirier and make sure he’s next in line. What’s more, he’s already faced Poirier in the past and KO’ed ‘The Diamond’ in the first round.

Conor McGregor’s future in the sport of boxing somewhat rides on the UFC run he goes on in 2021. Immediate success would virtually guarantee that he picks up a high-profile boxing bout towards the end of the year. As it stands, it seems as though Manny Pacquiao is the front runner over Jake Paul.
