A teacher has been accused of having sex with three boy pupils after she was allegedly caught when they were arguing about which one of them made her pregnant.
Another teacher allegedly overheard some of their conversation and demanded to know what they were talking about.
A police report claimed one of them told the teacher “he was not the daddy”.
The Texas teacher has now been indicted on the charges she sexually preyed on three boys at her school.
The Texarkana Gazette reports the now former high school teacher’s assistant was indicted for alleged sexual misconduct with three male students.
They said Ashlyn Faye Bell, 24, was indicted by a Bowie County Grand Jury on two counts of improper relationship between educator and student and a single count of sexual assault of a child.
Ms Bell is accused of engaging in sexual misconduct last autumn with three boys, two aged 17 and one 16 at the time.
A probable cause affidavit says Ms Bell was employed from August 5, 2019, to May 22 this year as an instructional aide, according to a previous interview with a school district official.
The outlet said the case was originally brought to the attention of Texarkana police, in Texas, US, by a teacher who reported a conversation she overheard among a group of male students.
When the teacher confronted one of the 17-year-old students, he allegedly informed the teacher that Ms Bell had already “told him he was not the daddy”.
The sex case allegedly took place at ms Bell’s home in neighbouring New Boston.
The Gazette reports the first boy was interviewed by cops in mid-June and told investigators he had a sexual encounter with Ms Bell over Thanksgiving break in 2019.
The boy alleged the two talked over SnapChat and Ms Bell agreed to meet him at a truck stop.
From there, Ms Bell allegedly took the boy to her home in New Boston.
The boy reported he and and the teacher allegedly engaged in sexual activity in her bedroom after she put her child to bed.
The second 17-year-old told investigators he began associating with Ms Bell outside of school because she was tutoring him.
He said he went to the teacher’s home several times and that on the third visit the two allegedly engaged in sexual activity during last autumn.
A third boy reported he was 16 and knew Ms Bell because she was working in the library, the paper reports.
He said the two began communicating outside of school, again via SnapChat.
He told authorities that on November 22, he “jokingly told Ms Bell he was coming to see her.”
Later in the night, the teacher allegedly sent him a SnapChat message asking him if he was coming over.
Ms Bell is accused of having her child in the car seat when she picked him up from his home and drove him to her residence.
The third boy told investigators Ms Bell took him home at approximately 5.15 a.m. and she picked him up again for sex the following weekend.
Ms Bell is out on custody on bail bonds totalling $150,000 (£115,000)
