Piers Morgan labels Meghan Markle a “disingenuous self-serving wrecking ball” and questions whether Prince Harry was happy talking to Oprah Winfrey.

Piers Morgan certainly isn’t one to hold back and he’s taken aim at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry once again.

This time the presenter, 55, has branded the former Suits star a “social-climber” and labelled her a “disingenuous self-serving wrecking ball”.

He has also questioned whether Harry was actually happy to be a part of the couple’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

In his Mail on Sunday column, Piers wrote: “I expected such disingenuous. self-serving wrecking-ball stuff from a social-climbing Hollywood actress like Ms Markle, but for Harry to publicly shred his family and the Monarchy like this, while Prince Philip was seriously ill in hospital, is so out of character for a man who once bravely served his Queen and country in war.

“He can’t be happy doing this, surely?”

His words are the latest in a long line of voiced opinions following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s stateside interview.

The Life Stories presenter’s outspoken views ultimately led to his departure from Good Morning Britain after almost six years.

His on-air views the morning after the interview was shown led to a record number of Ofcom complaints and he also had a public spat live on the show with weatherman Alex Beresford and stormed off the show.

After briefly appearing back in the hot seat to finish the show, Piers then refused to apologise for his comments in which he accused Meghan of lying on multiple accounts and left the show with immediate effect.

He has vowed to stand by his own words, citing “freedom of speech” and insists there is no foul play in his choice not to believe Meghan’s words.

However, he also revealed that in doing so, both he and his family have received a torrent of abuse by cyber bullies.

In his five-page article, he also commented: “It appears that questioning Meghan’s fork-tongued ‘truth’ is now a racist hate crime.”
