Netanyahu’s West Bank Annexation Plan Faces Delays

TEL AVIV—Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan to begin annexing parts of the occupied West Bank this month faced being delayed as the U.S. had yet to declare its full support for the move, Israeli officials said.

Under a coalition agreement between Mr. Netanyahu’s Likud party and former rival Benny Gantz’s Blue and White, the prime minister can begin the annexation process starting July 1 so long as it is done with the consent of the Trump administration.
