Navalny Regains Consciousness After Poisoning, Plans Russia Return

MOSCOW—Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny has regained consciousness, is breathing without a ventilator and plans to return to Russia from Germany where he has been undergoing treatment since being poisoned in Siberia last month.

In his first statement since falling ill, the Kremlin’s most vocal critic sounded upbeat and defiant.
