Mark Ruffalo, Aly & AJ and More Applaud Demi Lovato’s ‘Bravery’ for Releasing ‘Commander in Chief’
Demi Lovato made a bold political statement with her new song “Commander in Chief,” intended to mobilize fans to get out and vote ahead of the general election on Nov. 3.

While the song was met with some critics who claimed the singer should stick to music and stay out of politics, Lovato responded to a comment on her anti-Trump stance. “I literally don’t care if this ruins my career,” she wrote.

However, despite a few trolls, “Commander in Chief” also got a positive reception on social media, with a number of stars applauding Lovato for standing up for what she believes in.
