ISTANBUL—A Turkish court has opened the trial in absentia of 20 Saudi nationals, including two with ties to the Saudi crown prince, over the murder of dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Turkey, heightening pressure on the Gulf monarchy over its alleged role in an incident that shocked the world.
