Fortunately, fans might recognize one crew member, and that’s Eddie Lucas from the first three seasons of the show. Sure, they might be wary of him, given how he exited the show rather hastily after finding himself in the middle of rather contentious sexual relationship with third stew Rocky Dakota back in season 3. But we’re going to have to wait until the new season actually premieres to see if Eddie learned the error of his ways…
As for the rest of the crew, most are pros when it comes to working on yachts, but will they get the job done under Captain Lee’s watch? We’ll have to wait and see until the season kicks off on November 2nd.
Here’s a look at the new cast of Below Deck season 8:
As Kate’s replacement for chief stew, Francesca comes to the series with experience working with celebrity clientele. A perfectionist who’s always prepared to provide the best service, she has no patience for nonsense and makes sure everything is pristine, both on and below deck.

Long Island-born and raised, Elizabeth lives and breathes the ocean and is ready to jump into her fourth year of yachting as a stew on My Seanna. Always one to live life by her own rules, she’s ready to bring out her crystals and create a positive vibe amid the chaos.
As one of the stews aboard the My Seanna, Izzy accidentally found her way into yachting in the middle of a trip to Europe. She has experience in both the interior and exterior, and she’s ready to form lasting companionships while sailing the Caribbean.
As My Seanna’s newest chef, Rachel comes with years of experience working in Michelin-star restaurants and traveling the world. Known to create any dish from multiple cuisines, she’s all about being professional and holding her own in the galley.
Fans might remember him from the early days of Below Deck, and he’s back as bosun to show off all he’s learned in the years he wasn’t seen on television. While he did get into some shenanigans back in season 3, he’s ready to take things in stride and see where things go this time around.

As a deckhand for the My Seanna, UK-born and raised James just wants to work hard for respect while also playing hard. He shamelesly loves the ladies, and if the season’s trailer shows anything, chances are sparks might already be flying for the deckie.
Hailing from San Diego, this new deckhand is looking forward to making a splash in the yachting industry. With a degree in environmental sustainability from UC Berkeley, he tries to show off his environmentalist beliefs for anyone willing to listen. With his good looks and affinity for living the best life possible, maybe he’ll teach the other deckies a thing or two before the season ends.
With more than twenty years working in the yachting industry, it’s easy to say Captain Lee knows what he’s doing when it comes to running a boat. While he’s never going to take any prisoners if they embarrass him and his yacht, he’s excited for Eddie to return as a familiar face while getting to know his new crew members.
