Garden River Making Changes To Christmas Cheer Due To COVID-19

In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, Garden River First Nation is making some changes to its annual Christmas Cheer campaign.

In lieu of the usual turkey dinner and toy drive, a $50 gift card will be issued to those who are eligible.

In order to qualify, you must be a resident of Garden River First Nation and be able to provide income verification.

The deadline to register is December 1st with a delivery date of December 7thand you can go to the Garden River Food Bank to register.

The First Nation is also looking for delivery volunteers.
