Fortnite Zero Point in Season 4

Galactus is coming for the Zero Point, and these Fortnite leaks suggest that he’ll succeed.

Ever since we first learned that Galactus was on his way to the Fortnite island, we heard that he was after one thing: the Zero Point – also known as the Nexus Sphere. In Marvel comics, the “Nexus” refers to the point at which all realities are connected. With this crossover, it could mean the same thing in Fortnite.

By all accounts, the Season 4 event will be the biggest in the history of the game – not a short bar to clear. Fortnite has repeatedly outdone any other video game in their live events, and looks to outdo itself yet again.

Let me express smth real quick to show how huge this event will be

this event has 2 encrypted paks a 721MB enc pak and a 500MB one they are probably Two times bigger than the biggest event pak we ever had + They are compressed so the size is way bigger ..

With such a massive event on the horizon, fans are expecting certain assets to return to the game. How do you beat the Butterfly Event, Doomsday Event, and Black Hole event? You combine all of them into one.

We don’t think that the next Fortnite event will be this simple, but we do have a few signs that some of the major plot points from Chapter 1 will rear their heads, again. Yesterday, data miners reported that files for the Season X Black Hole lobby were back in the game files, suggesting a version of the Black Hole will come back in Season 4.

Today, @Mang0e reported that the sound files for the Nexus Sphere – or Zero Point – were added back into the game. When you combine these two pieces of news, they make a lot of sense. The Zero Point caused the Black Hole, after all.

Ambient loops from the 3 stages of the Nexus, after it was cracked in the Mecha event, were added back into the files in 14.60.

Why? I don’t know where it will be used, but it’s cool audio nevertheless, something to tie you guys over until the event 😀 pic.twitter.com/5Ez6iRQ57R

Of course, this is only speculation and we have no idea if/how these sound files would be used. Most data miners don’t know exactly what will happen during the event, but this trickle of information gives us some cryptic clues.

It looks like we’ll all need to wait for November 30 until we know more. Until then, we’ll cover all of the leaks, clues, and speculation ahead of the biggest event in the history of Fortnite.

Fortnite Season 4 is winding to a close with the final patch landing on November 18. As expected, this update brought event files to the game and data miners are already pouring over them.

Most Fortnite data miners like to keep major spoilers away from their audience, but one thing’s clear: this is going to be a massive event. By all accounts, Season 4’s end will rival the biggest events in the history of the game.

This will be the best event we ever had.

We’d be foolish to try to guess exactly what will happen when Galactus finally lands on the Fortnite island, but we do have a few clues as to what will be included. For instance, multiple data miners have discussed – or hinted at – a relationship between Chapter 2 Season 4 and Chapter 1 Season X.

According to iFireMonkey, there’s a file in the game called “RockyRidge” – the same file that was used in the lobby during Season X. For those who don’t remember, this was the Black Hole lobby that sucked us in after a few moments.

Multiple files were added relating to “RockyRidge”.

After talking with some people, it appears this was used back in Season X for the Lobby version of the Black Hole event.

Two strings are in the files related to this;

ShiinaBR, another Fortnite data miner, tweeted a cryptic video of the Season X lobby screen with a couple of eyeball emojis – likely hinting at the same file that iFireMonkey tweeted about.

All of this makes us excited for the upcoming Fortnite event. We don’t know exactly what will happen, but it makes sense up until this point.

The next bit is more confusing and we can’t tell whether or not it will play a role in the Galactus event. According to a couple of data miners, the Astroworld image from the Travis Scott event was also added back into the Fortnite game files.

We’re nearly certain that the Black Hole will have something to do with the Galactus event. If the next event will be the biggest in history, it only makes sense that it will relate to the previous “biggest event in Fortnite history.”

As for how Travis Scott and Astroworld work into all of this; your guess is as good as ours. We’ve seen several “who would win?” memes of Travis Scott fighting Galactus. Is this too far-fetched to actually happen? Probably, but we’re grasping at straws.

It seems like we’ll have to wait until the event in early December to know for sure. In the meantime, follow us on Twitter, @FortniteINTEL, so you never miss out on the latest Fortnite news.

Fortnite Season 4 is winding to a close, with the final few weeks of challenges getting players close to the goal of 220. Meanwhile, Galactus is making his way towards the Battle Royale island – a journey that has, reportedly, taken him over a year to complete.

You can see Galactus clearly if you look towards the sky in the western portion of the map. We’re only a few weeks from his arrival (at the time of writing) and fans are eagerly awaiting more information regarding what will happen when he lands.

Ahead, we’ll cover everything that we know about the Nexus War – or Galactus – Event before it happens. Make sure to check back as the days and weeks pass, as we’ll be periodically updating this post as we learn more.

Fortnite Galactus getting closer

Nexus War Event Date

At the time of initially writing this piece, we don’t know exactly when the Nexus or Galactus event will take place. All we know for sure is the scheduled end date of Season 4: November 30.

We’ll update this article when the countdown hits the game. One thing we do know is that the countdown is already in the game files. Data miner, Hypex, gave fans a sneak preview of how it will look.

We have to assumed that Galactus will get closer and bigger before this countdown hits 0.

Nexus War Event Leaks

Event leaks tend to be sporadic in Fortnite, even when we get closer to the event actually happening. Most of the big leakers avoid direct event spoilers, and Epic always want to cover their bases when they can.

According to some recent leaks, however, this event is supposed to be the biggest one in the history of Fortnite – which is a massive bar to clear. If this is the case, then there’s little chance anyone would be able to predict or fully spoil Season 4’s ending.

We have a couple of leaks that may or may not relate to the season-ending event. One of these is the mysterious “Lazing Device” that data miners found in the game files. It’s rumored to be related to Galactus in some way – either used by his minions or used to fight him.

Of course, I can’t confirm anything.

There is a bit more speculation on my claim then usual, but I was right about the Slurp Bazooka long before it released, so I’m gonna go with my gut this time.

More information is sure to come as the Season 4 event gets closer. We’ll keep this post updated as we learn more, so stay tuned for more leaks, official news, the start date, and more!

Two years ago, today, we caught our first glimpse of the In Between in the Fortnite Butterfly Event.

The plotline of Fortnite in 2018 was dominated by two characters: The Visitor and Kevin the Cube. Both of these characters or plot elements had massive effects on the Fortnite world. Although indirectly, you can still see their impact to this day – two years later.

The giant purple cube that would later be named Kevin, manifested from a giant Rift in the sky on August 24, 2018. From there, it circled the map, dissolved in Loot Lake, teleported the center island all over the map, and returned to its starting point on November 4 – exactly two years from this writing.

What happened next was what many players consider to be the best live Fortnite event of all time: The Butterfly Event. You can argue which event was your favorite, but there’s no arguing that this was the first event to truly give players a taste of what Fortnite events would become.

Kevin the Cube Fortnite skin

After Kevin expended all of its energy, the cube sat in the sky, dry, before being hit with lightning and beginning to spin. No one predicted what happened next, as players were transported to a matrix-style area that would later be called “The In-Between.”

A giant rift formed in the center of this area, taking the form of a butterfly and floating to each individual player. When the players contacted the butterfly, they were transported back to the Fortnite world and saw that the remains of the Loot Lake island – and Kevin – had plummeted to the ground.

This wasn’t the first live Fortnite event and was eventually outmatched by “The End” event, but the Butterfly Event was set the stage for everything that came next – even the shocking Doomsday Event from Chapter 2 Season 2. It was our first peek behind the curtain, and fans are still guessing as to the exact meaning of what we saw.

It’s crazy to think that it’s been two years since our first journey into the In Between. Will we return in 2020? Only time will tell.
