Follow the latest updates live from Crystal Palace vs Leeds United as Saturday’s Premier League action continues at Selhurst Park.

After the day’s opening encounter between Everton and Manchester United, Palace entertain Leeds with both sides knocking on the door of the top half of the table and looking to return to winning ways.

Palace suffered a disappointing defeat against Wolves last time out, while Leeds were on the end of a heavy 4-1 loss against Leicester, although their away form has been among the more impressive records in the Premier League this season. Follow the live updates below.

Chelsea make just one change from the team that easily beat Rennes in the Champions League last week. Mateo Kovacic replaces Jorginho in midfield.

For Sheffield United, Oliver Norwood, John Lundstram and David McGoldrick all start in place of Oli McBurnie, Ben Osborn and Ethan Ampadu.

Over to Stamford Bridge now, then. An in-form Chelsea side host a very much out of form Sheffield United team, so it’s pretty obvious who the overwhelming favourites are.

But the Blades were no pushovers against Liverpool or against Manchester City in their last two games.

Still, this is a tough ask, and Chelsea are really starting to take shape under Frank Lampard. They’ve stopped conceding goals – thanks largely to the additions of Edouard Mendy and Thiago Silva – and they are stacked with attacking options.

A win today could take Chelsea into third place, while Sheffield United hope to move off the bottom of the table.

Palace climb to sixth with victory, while Leeds drop to 14th. They’ve now shipped 17 goals in eight games, the worst defensive record in the Premier League.

That’s it! A very good day’s work for Palace, who return to winning ways in emphatic style, even if the scoreline flatters them slightly. Leeds have now lost back-to-back games, and both finished 4-1, so that will be a concern for Bielsa.

Bamford glides forward with the ball and goes to ground in the box. There’s a check for a possible penalty, but it looks more like a coming together between McCarthy and the Leeds striker.

Van Aanholt goes close again, teed up by a Benteke header and able to drill a shot at goal. He strikes the bouncing ball well, but it brushes the side netting on its way wide.

Leeds will press and harry until the final second of this game, but it is beginning to peter out now. Palace have managed the second half very well.
