Dewan and Tatum, who share daughter Everly, 7, disagree on how to split the assets from the business — which extends into the movie, live shows, and an upcoming reality show. The dancers, who met on the set of the 2006 movie “Step Up,” were in an intense mediation in regards to how to divide up profits, but were unable to agree to anything other than the fact that they should leave this to the courts to decide.

Tatum has been the face of the franchise, which launched with the 2012 movie, but Dewan argues that she supported him through helping him find the right choreographer for the live shows and uprooted her family to London during production, entitling her to reap the benefits of its success.

In legal docs obtained by TMZ, the 40-year-old dancer and mother of two is requesting a trial to settle a number of lingering issues following their November 2019 divorce, also including spousal support and a property settlement.
