England take on Belgium in the Uefa Nations League tonight, with the Three Lions hoping to go top of the group once again.
When the sides last met, in October, Gareth Southgate’s men were 2-1 winners at Wembley, but there was an element of fortune to that victory and England will be on foreign soil this evening as they try to replicate that result.
England, third in League A Group 2 on seven points, could leapfrog leaders Belgium – who have nine points – with a win, though second-placed Denmark (also on seven points) take on Iceland this evening as well. Follow live updates below.
63 mins: Trippier is in a bit of distress. He tackled Thorgan Hazard and the Belgium defender’s studs scraped across Trippier’s face as he flipped over. There’s a bit of blood showing but Trippier looks like he’ll continue.

60 mins: Nice from Grealish. He darts into the box from the left and takes on the defenders. They drop off him afraid to make a tackle and Grealish works the ball onto his right foot. He shoots are for the far top corner but over hits it and the ball goes out for a goal kick.

57 mins: England are getting closer. Grealish, over on the right wing, tries to work his way into the box but is met with a wall of Belgium shirts. He passes it into the middle instead andthe ball comes to Mount. Mount flicks a pass through the lines with a sort of back-heel and Kane takes it up. He gets into the box but his shot is pretty weak and Courtois goes low to save it.

51 mins: Alderweireld brings down Kane just outside the box and England have a free kick in almost the same position as the one in which Mertens scored.
Mason Mount takes it and boots it well over the goal.

48 mins: Belgium’s press is punishing England. Walker gives the ball away to Mertens and Belgium storm forward on the counter attack. Mertens from the left, Lukaku in the middle and De Bruyne on the right. The ball is played to De Bruyne who takes it into the box. He shoots but misses the target.

Second half: Harry Winks comes on for England at half time with Jordan Henderson the man coming off.
Belgium get the match back underway. England need an early goal if they’re going to win this one.

45+2 mins: Half time. Belgium take a two goal advantage into the break as the whistle goes for half time. England have been okay, they need to work the ball quicker and cut out the mistakes. I do think they’ll score, whether they can get the three goals they’ll need to win is another matter.
