Wedding crashers are generally dreaded rather than welcomed…unless you happen to be a celebrity. Here, all the stars who have showed up, sans invite, to ceremonies and receptions—making these couples’ big days even more unforgettable.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry joined Hayley Rosenblum and Blonie Dudney’s wedding reception in St. Louis, Missouri, where Perry was traveling with her Witness tour. Perry and her crew rushed the dance floor, according to the Kansas City Star, and stayed for about 10 minutes.

Beyoncé and Jay Z

The singer and her rapper husband decided to visit a church while holidaying in Portofino, Italy, in September 2014—only to inadvertently crash a wedding.

Ed Sheeran

The “Shape Of You” singer surprised and performed for an Australian couple, who, after the death of the bride’s mother, had fallen on hard times. “Just surprised this lovely couple’s first dance. Available for weddings, birthdays, and bar mitzvahs, contact your local supermarket for details,” Sheeran captioned his March 2015 Instagram photo.

Amy Schumer

Irish newlyweds Eithne McAdam and groom J.P. Swaine were joined by Schumer, who was in town promoting Trainwreck, at a bar after their August 2015 ceremony in Dublin.

Judd Apatow

Also in attendance at the happy couple’s casual reception was Trainwreck director Judd Apatow. The king of comedy joined Amy Schumer as they celebrated the newlyweds over a pint of beer.

Lady Gaga

In April 2010, Lady Gaga was staying at the Intercontinental Hotel in ­Adelaide, Australia. When she walked by the ballroom mid-ceremony on Courtney and Reece Kerr’s special day, she decided to join in.

Pitt was enjoying a drink at the Maidenhead hotel when he was spotted by bride and groom Abi and Daniel Lingwood, who persuaded the actor to take a quick snap with them. “The girls were going wild and mental so Brad Pitt and the people he was with went upstairs to a room for their meeting,” Abi told the Maidenhead Advertiser in September 2013. “It has become more of a talking point than my wedding, but that is fine.”

Taylor Swift

In June 2016, the singer surprised Max Singer and Kenya Smith at their wedding in Brand Beach, New Jersey, after Max’s sister Ali reached out to Swift and told her that the couple had wed in a hospital room where Max’s late mother spent her final days. Swift performed a stripped-down version of “Blank Space,” which became the bride and groom’s first dance song.

LeBron James

The NBA champion gave Shaun and Jamie Kolnick the ultimate wedding photo when he happened to be meeting a Sports Illustrated reporter at their wedding venue, the Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove. “A member of his crew said, ‘We’re still working, get out of here.’ And I said, ‘I’m the bride'” Jamie told Good Morning America in July 2012. “They couldn’t find a way out, honestly, so they came through and said let’s take a picture and we got our money shot.”

Queen Elizabeth II

John and Frances Canning were surprised when Queen Elizabeth herself walked into Manchester Town Hall moments after the couple had said “I do” in March 2012.

Tom Hanks

Newlyweds Elisabeth and Ryan Barclay were taking their wedding pictures in Central Park in September 2016 when Hanks stopped by to congratulate them. He later posted the selfie on Twitter, writing “Elizabeth and Ryan! Congrats and blessings! Hanx.”

Barack Obama

President Obama happened to be golfing at Torrey Pines Golf Course on the same day that Stephanie and Brian Tobe got married at the San Diego resort. The President stopped by to greet the couple, who were understandably over the moon by the surprise.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson

The Rock and Danny DeVito were on a press trip for Jumanji: The Next Level when they heard a commotion at their Mexican resort. The two crashed the reception and documented their experience on Instagram.

The Jumanji co-stars surprised newlyweds Kristine and Will Abbot at their reception by grabbing the mic and serenading the couple with “Unforgettable.” The actors even posed for photos with the bride and groom and their four children. “I’ve never crashed a wedding, but with Devito this was truly UNFORGETTABLE,” Johnson said on Instagram.

Snoop Dogg

In 2014, Snoop Dogg took a photo with a bride and groom after being spotted by their photographer at their venue, the Hard Rock Cafe Chicago. The rapper shared his own photo with the newlyweds, Joe Scheller and Neesha Ghadiali, on Instagram to commemorate the day.

Lil Nas X

One very special bride was escorted by Lil Nas X into her wedding reception as “Old Town Road” played on the speakers. The rapper was visiting Disney World when he crashed the wedding of a couple getting married at the Florida resort and shared it on Twitter.

Adam Sandler

The Wedding Singer star spotted a couple posing for photos after their ceremony in Montreal, while he was in town shooting his Netflix film Murder Mystery, and decided to photo bomb the newlyweds in his gym shorts and VCU T-shirt.

Maroon 5

When filming the music video for “Sugar,” Maroon 5 crashed a bunch of weddings. Although it’s been speculated that some of the shoots were staged, there were a few performances that came as a complete shock to the bride and groom—like newlyweds Melanie and Ryan from Los Angeles.

The Beach Boys

When The Beach Boys found out that their soundcheck in Cleveland interrupted the nearby wedding ceremony of Mark Kent and Jamie Diadium, they felt so bad that they invited the entire guest list to their concert that night.

Usain Bolt

Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt photobombed a couple who were taking their wedding photos in Paris in 2013. “Only in Paris you walking in the square and the bride and groom run leave to the proceedings to to take a picture,” Bolt wrote on Instagram.

Lea DeLaria

The Orange Is the New Black star crashed a wedding while in Australia with two of her OITNB costars: Yael Stone (Lorna Morello) and Danielle Brooks (Taystee).

Kevin Hart and Josh Gad

While filming Wedding Ringer, Kevin Hart and Josh Gad crashed a wedding in real life. The actors took to the stage to wish Rajan and Chandni Patel well on their wedding day with an impromptu speech.

John Travolta

The actor was in Georgia to renew his pilot’s license when he struck up a conversation with wedding guests who invited him to festivities the following day, according to an Imgur thread. Arriving in a black T-shirt and baseball cap, Travolta joined the bride and groom for photos after the ceremony.

Robin Williams

But wait: John Travolta has apparently made it a habit of joining in on wedding festivities. In a 2009 interview, he reminisced about a 1977 wedding in Santa Barbara that he and Robin Williams crashed together.

Newlyweds Katie and Shane ran into Liam Hemsworth when they stopped by Currumbin Beach Vikings Surf Life Saving Club in the Gold Coast after their ceremony. The actor chatted with the couple and took a few photos with them.
